You want to find the 10 best skateparks in France ? Not that easy:) too many amazing places ! Read this article and discover the best spots to practice your skateboard, roller-blade, scooter, and BMX skills.
There are so many skateparks to skate in France and great extreme sports events. The most famous event is the FISE (Festival International des Sports Extrêmes) in Montpellier created in 1997 by Hervé André-Benoit. This competition remains one the biggest in the world like the X-games in USA.
“The FISE brings together a broad range of extreme disciplines in one sunny spot : Mountain Bike Slopestyle, BMX Freestyle, BMX and Flatland, Sk8, Agressive inline skating, Wakeboard and Parkour. “
EGP is the largest concrete covered skatepark in France with 3,000 square meters. There are bowls, a vertical wall, a snake run and much more. Wearing helmets is mandatory (which is not that bad overall when you fall. Shit happens).

The park is located on the seafront quite big with 1,800 m² (all in concrete). It has a street area with pyramid, various modules, rails, but also a great large bowl, with a lot of curves, inclined planes, bumps,spine, quarters and walls.

The Chartrons skatepark is one of the largest outdoor skatepark in France (2,350 square meters). It has 4 main areas :

The Hangar is a great associative covered skatepark of 5300 m², managed by the Teaching League – FAL 44. It is open to rollerblading, skateboarding, and BMX and Scooters (from 10 years and Freestyle Scooters only).

Created in 1992, the Grammont skatepark will undergo a major renovation to make it in 2022. It will be one the biggest european skatepark increasing from 3,000 to 9,000 square meters. It will be massive. Below, the description.
Skatepark: 1,512 m2 Bowl: 1,027 m2 Streetpark: 1,096 m2 Pumptrack: 853 m2 Dirt area: 1,056 m2 Trick Learning area : 813 m2 BMX Park: 1,607 m2 Plus an additional building of 398 m2 and 1,000 m2 of fun paths.

Je suis allée à Nantes et j´ai fait pas mal de skatepark et le hangar est vraiment très sympa.
Mais la ville elle même contient de nombreux skatepark tous très sympa.
